Someone found my blog through a search engine while looking for “soccer mom sex”. Hmmm. I’ve been key word and phrase searching my blog and I cannot figure out which entry they went to! I do mention soccer moms a few times; I mean really, I live in the ‘burbs! But Soccer Mom Sex! I rarely refer to sex in this blog let alone so overtly!

What a crazy busy week we had last week and it just continues on into this week! Sometimes I plan for a meal and then something comes up and we don't eat it for one reason or another. This week I'm trying really hard to stick to the menu again. I'll add links and pictures later!
Monday - Dinner @ a friend's house.
Tuesday - Taco Night.Yes, almost every week we have taco's in some form and pizza.
Wednesday - Whole Chicken in the Crock Pot with Asparagus and Corn Bread and Salad.
Thursday - Leftovers.
Friday - Camping food
Saturday - Chicken foil dinner or chicken on the grill (weather permitting) with veggie kabobs.
Sunday - Dinner @ church.
Check out Menu Plan Monday links here!

I don’t know how to say this in a gentle, kind way so here it is; our year has filled up awfully fast. We have about 1 or 2 weekends between now and the end of the year that aren’t totally full. Right now we are looking at about a million weddings this summer and fall, all of which I’m very excited about but the other night I’ve decided that we have to start triaging our life. Immediate family will come first, work will come second, friends and extended family will come third. When it comes to a battle within our triage system, we’ll have to assess our current relationship with those people taking into account our past relationship and guessing our future relationship.
Right now I am mostly struggling with what to do about two of the out of state weddings on my schedule. I almost have the desire to call those people up and say, “Are you ever going to come visit me at my home?” or “Will I ever really see you again after your wedding?” or “Would you rather I just send a gift?” I’m sure that many of the people I invited to our wedding went through the same kind of criteria that I’m looking at. Do you have any suggestions?

Today our schedule was very, very packed full of preparing for our big hike and various social obligations activities. We had such a great time visiting with my husband’s family that came in from out of town and then we paid a little visit to my friend Chandra and then hoped on over to our friends home for a poker game. Well, I didn’t play poker, I chatted with the girls.
Jay got 3rd place in poker (he might have done even better but I kept trying to get him to go all in on a blind hand so that we could just go home – we finally left at midnight) and went home without losing any “poker chips”. I told him that if he didn’t lose any of our “poker chips” I would reward him. Now I have to come up with a reward…
