Born in Orange County California, I made a not so clean break at the age of 21 (actually, on my 21st Birthday). I accepted a job in the Midwest where life is either freezing or humidly miserable. After spending some time on several continents and attending 7 colleges in 7 years, I will finally graduate with a degree in Communication Studies in December.

My husband and I met almost five years ago during a conference call; we became friends for a month, dated for a day and were engaged after day two. Married now for three years, I affectionately refer to myself as "stuck" here in the Midwest. Missing the beach, the sun, the temperate weather, my family and friends, I have a hard time finding my niche.

My supportive husband and I find time somewhere in our busy lives to enjoy the finer things; geo-caching, wine tasting, camping, movie watching, working on the house and eating at Olive Garden. We love traveling and do it whenever we can, sometimes without one another. Our beautiful golden retriever is the apple of our eye and next summer’s house project is that picket fence. Oh wait...our association doesn't allow it.

Vice President of our neighborhood Home Owners Association, Technology Assistant at the local high school, Chief Executive Officer of our lovely home, Social chair for a group of friends, Church-going volunteer and Princess of Neighborhood gossip (my other neighbors have me beat, I just listen) are only a few of the official roles that I fulfill in my spare time.
